TinPane - Nepali Local Alcohol
'Tinpane' and the local alcohol brewing practice is in its path to be extinct in near future. The government has banned such practice for business purpose. It is a good thing to discourage such fragmented and unmonitored business. At the same time, the age old tradition shouold also be kept alive for our future generation to know how things used to be done in the past.
Let me first go in details on what Tinpane stands for:
When you make alcolol, you need to filter by condensation. The first batch of condentation is usually a very high concentration alcolol. It is usually not fit for drinking. Secont batch is still strong and so is third batch. The local alcohol obtained from these three batches of condentation is called 'tinpane'. Tin is three in Nepali and pani is water.
